Presidential Message
Jeremy Jessup, 2009-2010
The Rotary Club of Natomas is a vibrant, cheerful crowd of professionals dedicated to service and the greater good for all humankind. We devote our time and effort to worthwhile causes locally and abroad.
But honestly, that isn't so different from other Rotary clubs. What really set us apart at Natomas are our diverse, fun-loving members.
Our club represents a wide variety of ages, ethnicities, and backgrounds. We span half a century between the lot of us, from our youngest member in her early twenties to our oldest in his seventies. Nearly forty percent of us are women and our average age is 42.
Our unique blend of individuals gives our club a youthfulness unlike other clubs. You may never know what's going to happen, but you'll always have fun!
So I invite you to attend a few of our meetings; you will quickly learn why Rotary is the oldest and strongest service organization in the world. (You'll also find out it's possible to be laughing and full of energy at seven in the morning!) I am honored to have the chance to serve with this great bunch of people. It's going to be a good year.
